Real Friends

Because we're friends You're not droppin' lines Instead your makin' me laugh all the dang time

As I reflect on this I wrote a poetic rhyme, which describes a friendship of this kind

It's new and developing into more of the same
Sharing God's love and encouragement, not these single games

It's fun and transparent, at least on my part, full of honesty, goodwill straight from the heart

Playa, because I know your type,  I'm praying for you because you know you ain't right

It's just a man and a woman Siblings in Christ

Lifting each other up to shine their light bright

If I haven't told you to stop waiting and just begin

I say wait not for tomorrow,  let your light shine now while the gifts are still within

This is just me smelling the roses.
