I'd like to drop you some knowledge
Around what I call friendship college
Where friends thrive on hard work and truth
Instead of foolish tyrants by youth
Where a real friend who claims he believes in Jesus
knows just how to lead us
A friend would say, hey bruh - you do the crime, then do the time
Not I'll write a verse to that explicit rhyme
That calls young girls bitches
and hides pain with stitches
A real friend guides and leads you to elevation
To higher heights, not the dark but light not death and desolation
Let's go to the Friendship Library where real lyricist dwell
Talking about life's possibilities instead of embracing hell
I wrote this just for you Desean a young man with lots of potential
Learn to be a good friend, and know that a positive influence is most essential.
Welcome to The Poet's Brain. A place where we stop to express, project and caress our words with boldness, finesse and creativity.
SEEK GOD WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART!
Are you looking in the right places

My Slice of Happiness Sensory
Oh how I’ve longed for this moment.
To see your face, to hear your voice, feel you.
I often wondered what it would be like,
To happen upon your presence once more.
HA! I’m so glad I didn’t lose my mind,
Forget everything, and everyone
And run to you with all my might,
Gripping you, kissing your face and holding on for dear life!
At least that what I thought would happen.
So glad, that God shielded me, protected me
Separated us through a computer screen,
You a stranger at first sight
With only a glimmer of familiarity that I could write
Now when I think of you it will be as a great memory
My endless slice of Happiness Sensory
